Leading NHS Foundation Trust, Guy’s and St Thomas looked to Agile Medical to supply 200 resuscitation trolleys, to support outstanding patient care in emergency scenarios
The NHS Getting It Right First Time methodology drives quality and productivity improvement in over 30 clinical specialities that costs trusts over £45bn per year. The primary objective of this is to improve the quality of care and outcomes for patients. By doing this, it will deliver savings by reducing complications and litigation, improving outcomes to the value of £500m a year. Agile Medical can confidently say that we are assisting the NHS in achieving this. As a provider of mobile healthcare equipment, our collaboration with NHS trusts is helping them to mobilise their care, assisting their nurses in doing what they do best – provide care, ultimately benefitting the wellbeing of the patients.
Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust were looking to improve their response to cardiac arrest situations and looked to source a solution that was compact, stable and ready to roll. How Agile Medical met their requirements:
Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust staff now have immediate access to appropriate resuscitation equipment and drugs to facilitate rapid resuscitation of patients in cardiorespiratory arrest. Standardisation of the equipment used for resuscitation (including defibrillators and emergency suction equipment) throughout the trust has helped to ensure that every nurse is comfortable with the resuscitation trolley.
